Take Action with SHRM Foundation Webcast
Description
SHRM Foundation is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm of the world’s largest HR professional society, SHRM. SHRM represents nearly 340,000 HR professionals across the globe, impacting 362 million workers and their families. The SHRM Foundation elevates and empowers HR professionals as a force for social good so that all talent workplaces can prosper and thrive. To expand access to work and help workers and workplaces thrive,
SHRM Foundation focuses on three interconnected pools of work: Widening Pathways to Work, Strengthening the HR Field, and Thriving Together (formerly Tackling Societal Challenges).
SHRM Foundation believes everyone deserves the chance to contribute and thrive in the workforce. Every day, we support HR leaders, hiring managers, and executives with the tools, training, research, and resources they need to find, recruit, hire, retain, and advance people who might otherwise be locked out of work. Through various initiatives like Skills First at Work, Getting Talent Back to Work, and Military Community at Work, we can connect employers with untapped pools of talent and provide greater opportunity to strengthen the workforce. The Foundation also invests in scholarships, mentorships, and apprenticeship opportunities to ensure that the future of the HR field is bright. Over $600k is awarded annually to students and HR professionals, investing in HR’s tomorrow through nurturing talent and fueling innovation to shape a brighter future for the field. Lastly, we are preparing and supporting HR leaders to address internal and external factors that impact the workforce and incorporating themes of mental health, neurodiversity, stability, resiliency, supporting caregivers across generations, and addressing social drivers of health. This research underscores our commitment to nurturing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in the workplace.
