About the Authors
Sarah C. Miller is an organization development consultant at The MITRE Corporation, a not-for-profit organization that operates research and development centers for the federal government. She has worked with individuals and groups in the corporate, education, government, and nonprofit sectors internationally through coaching, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. She previously worked at the Center for Creative Leadership and Red Hat as well as in her own consulting practice.
Dr. Shelley A. Kirkpatrick is a recognized authority on organizational agility as well as organizational vision statements. She is a Principal at The MITRE Corporation, a not-for-profit organization that operates research and development centers for the federal government. She is the founder of Visiontelligence LLC (www.visiontelligence.com), where she helps company leaders create truly inspirational vision statements. She also serves as an adjunct professor at George Mason University and holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland at College Park.
