About the Authors

Christy Noel is a career expert, author, award-winning marketing executive, nonprofit fundraising strategist, foster dog mom, and seven-time IRONMAN® triathlon finisher. Christy worked her way up the corporate ladder in business-to-business tech companies and startups and is currently the Senior Vice President of Marketing for MobileCause.

Christy is also the creator and author of Your Career Survival Guide: How To Get And Keep A Job In Time Of Crisis, where she navigates people on their career journeys to survive and thrive in times of crisis, such as COVID-19. She is a regular contributor of career advice to podcasts and online publications.

Mike Noel, Christy's father, is the former Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Edison International and Southern California Edison companies, corporations where he spent more than 30 years in various financial, management, and executive positions.

After retiring from the Edison companies, Mike established Noel Consulting Co., advising companies and public utilities' commissions on corporate finance. He also served on ten boards of directors throughout his career.
