Their CompAnalyst Market Data delivers accurate, up-to-date market pricing information for more than 15,000 unique job titles in 16 countries, as well as hard-to-find data items like hot job pricing data, long- and short-term incentive data, and embedded public executive proxy data.
What is included in my salary report credit?
The product in the SHRMStore is NOT for a subscription to CompAnalyst. The price in the SHRMStore is for a single job title and report, downloadable in both PDF and Excel formats. Reports can be filtered to include one industry, geographic location, and company size by revenue and FTEs.

My company handbook is out-of-date. Can we import our old handbook into your system and edit it?

Because our Employee Handbook Builder uses expertly crafted language provided by our legal partners at Jackson Lewis P.C., importing outside language is not possible. This ensures that all the federal and state provisions and language requirements are included and legally compliant. After each provision, you will review the provided language and have the ability to amend or replace it with your own.

Who needs Labor Law Posters?

Every company with more than two employees is required to post certain state and federal posters. These posting requirements can be found on the state's DOL website as well as the Federal DOL website.

What is included in this service?

One poster for each subscription will be mailed at the time of purchase, but any time there is a required update (that means a new posting is needed on either the state or federal posters), customers will receive the updated poster FREE of charge for 12 months (or 3 years depending on their subscription) from the date of purchase of the poster set.

How will this system communicate with our time-keeping system which includes when employees are absent?

The FMLA Manager system is designed to be a stand-alone system, but can import employee information using an excel spreadsheet as the go-between an HRIS system and the FMLA Manager.

Is this a product that advises us what programs (federal/state) employees qualify for based on their location? It seems like we have to tell the system what employees qualify for and if leave runs concurrently, instead of the system telling us. Is that correct?

The system gives the guideline of all the programs and will give errors if you select things that cannot go together.

Does the system also track municipal laws?

The system currently works with state and federal law, but you could create the municipal programs as customized leave programs.

What are the differences between the various Harassment Prevention Products offered?
  1. DVDs versus Classroom streaming: We group these two types of products together because both can only be used in a single location at any given time and may not be administered virtually. The difference between these products is that one is a physical DVD and the other a virtual file.
  2. Make sure you select the right DVD or Classroom streaming product as some of our products are designed for specific states or in a specific language.
  3. From bullying in the workplace to sexual harassment prevention, many of our topics vary so you can best find what you need for you next training solution.
How can I share DVD or Classroom Streaming content?

Both DVD and Classroom streaming are designed to be taught in a live single location classroom and should be accompanied by an instructor or educator. Please note that DVD content may not be removed from the disc or streamed over a network connection.

Does watching the DVD keep me compliant?

The DVDs are a starting point, and most states require a specific amount of time to go over these topics. An instructor or educator should use activities and discussions to supplement the DVD and meet your specific state’s requirements.
