Purchasing & Order Status

  1. To purchase a seminar for another person, please contact the SHRM Member Care Center:

    You cannot purchase for other people over the internet.

  1. SHRM Seminar registrations are done on an individual basis, but if you have a group of 10 or more then we may be able to bring the training to you. Contact us to identify the program that best addresses your team's development needs and set up your team's onsite training program:

  1. You may access a receipt of payment online under your account / MySHRM area by selecting the My Orders & Donations tile. You may also request a receipt of payment via phone or email.

  1. Selected seminars will remain in your cart for approximately 30 days.

  1. If your seminar is no longer displayed in your cart, it may have reached the 30 day expiration date. You may re-select your item to add it to your cart before checking out.

  1. You may access your order history for seminars under your account / MySHRM area by selecting the My Orders & Donations tile.

  1. You are not required to be a member to register for SHRM seminars. For most events, SHRM offers a discounted rate for SHRM members.

Payments

  1. You may submit payment for a seminar via phone, fax, or online via Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Unfortunately, Discover Card is not an accepted form of payment.

  1. SHRM accepts purchase orders for seminars from Government agencies only. Purchase orders may be mailed, accompanied with a completed registration form, to:

  1. SHRM does not offer gift certificates for seminars. However, you may purchase seminar for another person. To purchase for another person, please contact the SHRM Member Care Center:

  1. A seminar invoice may be created by contacting the SHRM Member Care Center by phone or email, however registrations are not complete until payment has been received in full.

  1. SHRM Seminars do not include sales tax.

Refunds

  1. All seminar cancellations must be in writing using our online form or can be faxed to +1.703.535.6490. Should the program be cancelled, SHRM is not responsible for any penalty incurred by purchasing a nonrefundable airline ticket or related travel/personal costs. Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund minus a $250 administrative fee up to 10 business days before the program. If you find that you are unable to attend and it is less than 10 business days before the program start date, you may send a replacement to attend in your place. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit your registration fee.

Returns

  1. For SHRM Certification Prep courses: Unused items may be returned for a full refund (less shipping and handling) within 30 days of purchase. No items will be accepted after 30 days or if they are not in a condition to be resold.

Transfers/Cancellations

  1. Transfers are permitted one time only within the calendar year. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing via e-mail or fax, no later than 10 business days before the program start date. You may transfer into another program that will be held before December 31, 2017. If you are unable to attend the program to which you transfer, you may send a replacement. Shipping

  1. For SHRM Certification Prep courses: Learning System materials are typically received via mail, within 5 – 7 business days of processing the order. SHRM Learning Systems cannot be mailed to P.O. Boxes. A physical address must be listed for shipping.

  1. If a seminar is full, the website will show it as SOLD OUT, or you will be prompted on the website that the seminar is no longer available.

  1. For SHRM Certification Prep courses: No additional shipping is required for this seminar. Shipping is additional when purchasing the Learning System as a separate item (without a seminar).

  1. Typically, orders are shipped via FedEx Ground unless specified otherwise. SHRM reserves the right to utilize alternate shippers when necessary. Orders outside the continental United States will be shipped via airfreight. Orders shipped via FedEx Ground will normally arrive within 5–7 business days of processing the order.
