Description

OSHA’s new Walking-Working Surfaces Rule requires employers to identify and evaluate slip, trip and fall hazards; provide appropriate personal protective equipment or fall protection systems; conduct regular inspections and maintenance of walking-working surfaces; and provide training that enables employees to recognize fall hazards and how to minimize them.

J. J. Keller’s two-in-one Walking-Working Surfaces: What You Need to Know for Supervisors & Employees training program will help your supervisors and your employees understand the new rule and its day-to-day implications.

After completing this training, supervisors will be able to:

  • Recognize when a hazard assessment is required
  • Identify when an inspection is required
  • Recognize additional fall protection options
  • Determine when/if training is required
  • Identify a qualified person to develop and conduct the training

After completing this training, employees will be able to:

  • Recognize the impact of the new rule
  • Identify their own responsibilities in terms of hazard assessments, inspections, fall protection, and training
