HIPAA Privacy- Individual

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) includes five different sections, which address privacy, security, electronic transaction and breach notification. This course will cover the “Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information” regulations, known as the Privacy Rule, including how to recognize, use and disclose protected health information (PHI) as well as identify covered entities and business associates and their respective responsibilities.
